Roadmap
Where Draconis is today, and where it may go next.
We build the house. You make it home.
This page shows the direction Draconis may take. It is not a schedule and not a list of promises: nothing here has a date, and an idea being listed does not mean it will be built.
Now#
What Draconis provides today.
- A reusable community website foundation. One platform that separate community sites are built on
- Community identity. Each community has its own name, colors, artwork and words
- Markdown-first content. Pages, rules and documentation are written as plain text files
- Documentation. A shared layout for documentation, rules and policies, with search
- Responsive, dark-first design. The same layout from a phone to a wide desktop screen
- Search and sharing metadata. Titles, descriptions and link previews on every page
The platform page describes each of these in full.
Exploring#
Ideas and capabilities being evaluated.
- More deployment customization. More of a site that a community can make its own
- Easier ways to update content. Today Dragon Fhang Studios makes content changes for each community
- Additional community integrations. Connections to the tools a community already uses
Could come later#
Longer-term possibilities.
- Discord sign-in
- Live server information
- Applications inside the site
- Staff tools
- Tools for communities to create and manage their own sites, from guided configuration to creator tools
None of these exists today, and none is promised.
Eventually, we want to hand you the keys#
Today, Draconis sites are built with their communities by Dragon Fhang Studios. Long term, we want to give communities more control over creating and managing their own sites.
We're not pretending those tools exist today. We want to get there.
